Promoter Interviews

Bethel Spring Series

The Bethel Spring Series is one of the most popular race series in the Northeast and is the traditional season opener for many riders. TrueSport.com caught up with co-race promoters Gene Pringle and Aki Sato for this exclusive interview.

Adam Hodges Myerson

Adam Hodges Myerson is one of the most respected riders and promoters in New England. A former Collegiate National Cyclo-Cross Champion, Adam and his company Cycle-Smart are the promoters of the Verge New England Cyclo-Cross Series and are raising the bar of 'cross races in the United States. TrueSport.com caught up with Adam for this exclusive interview.

Len Pettyjohn

Len Pettyjohn has a rich history in U.S. cycling and when he's in charge of something you know it's going to be a success. When Len was the Team Director of the Coors Light Professional Cycling Team they dominated the domestic racing circuit. Now Len has turned his attention to race promoting and in just a few short years he has turned the Saturn Cycling Classic into one of the nation's premier one-day races.

Ken Mills

Ken Mills has been an active race promoter in New Jersey for a number of years but he is most well known as the promoter of the Mt. Holly Grand Prix. In just a few short years this "invitation only" race has become one of the premier events in the Northeast. The 96 mile event is unique in that the 12 mile circuit is completely flat. While the trend is to make races as hilly as possible, Ken has taken a different approach and has laid out a "kermesse style" circuit. The wide open course features plenty of wind and a technical final kilometer gets the rider’s attention. In fact, the race has only once finished in a fieldsprint. TrueSport.com caught up with Ken Mills for this exclusive interview.

John Eustice

John Eustice is a true pioneer of cycling in the United States. As a cyclist he was the first U.S. Pro Champion. As a race promoter he was the founder of Sparta Cycling Inc. and he introduced one-day "classics" such as the Housatonic Cycling Classic and the Univest Grand Prix. TrueSport.com asked John a few questions in this exclusive interview.

Tym Tyler (Tour of Ohio race promoter)

Tym Tyler of TeamCOLUMBUS is one of the leading race promoters in the Midwest putting on a race in the Ohio area almost every weekend from March to November. TrueSport.com caught up with Tym and asked him a few questions about racing and promoting.
